Unleashing Digital Transformation: Revolutionizing Industries with Wrench SmartProject – From Manufacturing to Mega Infra Projects
Our journey commenced in 1994, a time when ‘Information Technology’ mostly encompassed CAD, email, MS Office, Novell network, and little else. Recent mechanical engineering graduates, Varghese Daniel and Aju Peter, conceived the idea of enhancing the manufacturing design process using a unique form of Information Technology. However, since such technology didn’t exist yet, they took it upon themselves to build it, thus establishing the foundation of what would later become Wrench Solutions.
Driven by the belief that The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, they developed a product that employed best practices to standardize processes across all departments. Automation was the key to enhancing efficiency in every process, task, and activity. After successfully persuading German-Indian subsidiaries Widia & Mico-Bosch to embrace this innovative concept, companies like L&T, BHEL, BEL, Flowserve, and Xomox soon followed suit.
In 2005, Wrench identified a similar challenge in the Energy industry, where reliance on manual processes led to project delays and cost overruns. Leveraging their profound knowledge of manufacturing, Wrench designed a product tailored for the Engineering & Construction sector.
Over the years, Wrench expanded its footprint into the Middle East and Asia, building partnerships with esteemed clients such as CH2M Habtoor Leighton, Atkins, Simon Carves, Tata Group, ENOC, TOYO, and many others. In 2013, Wrench established its presence in the United States, with an office in Houston, Texas, to cater to North American clients.
In 2015, Wrench introduced SmartProject, a comprehensive, integrated, cloud-based system designed to cover the entire project cycle, from engineering and procurement to construction. Today, SmartProject is deployed on over 10,000 projects across 32 countries, helping organizations achieve their project management goals seamlessly.
